“Home Birth is an Option” is not an classical or rogerian argument. Its was basically an personal essay from her experience with her mother’s home birth. However, she neglected to show the positive and the negative points to this argument. Where are the big questions in the argument? What is the percentage of home births were successful? What will happen if the mother or the baby got sick at that time? Also interview other’s mothers that had a home births and their experience. While writing an argument, the writer has to be bias on his/her work otherwise the reader will only get one side of the argument.
