INVISIBLE BOY by Shel Silverstein

Shel Silverstein

“INVISIBLE BOY
And here we see the invisible boy
In his lovely invisible house,
Feeding a piece of invisible cheese
To a little invisible mouse.
Oh, what a beautiful picture to see!
Will you draw an invisible picture for me?”

This poem is silly and yet so well written. I know its a part from a children book, but I cannot help liking this poem. The poem will created a seen in the mind and will convinces a person to draw it out. Like Huckleberry Finn, the boy who was painting a fences, that his friends made fun of him then later tricked them by making it fun to do. Simply how the mind creates things that make others to be confused.
